WHAT IF MOUNTAIN/ALTITUDE SICKNESS APPEARS DURING MY JOURNEY?
We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks. We ( Our guide ) closely monitor the effects of altitude on our clients/ trekkers, and in case of sickness, we can move you quickly to a lower altitude.
Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a common issue when ascending rapidly. Our trek reaches high altitudes, so understanding the symptoms and prevention is crucial. The trek starts at 1400m and reaches a maximum of 4984m at Lauribinayak Pass. AMS can occur above 2400m and affect anyone regardless of age, fitness, or gender. Symptoms range from mild (headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, trouble sleeping) to severe. Severe AMS can lead to High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE) or High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE), which can be fatal if untreated. To avoid AMS, ascend gradually to allow acclimatization, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and smoking, and eat small, high-carb meals. If you experience any symptoms, please immidiately inform our guide.

In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen. In case of emergency, our staff is well trained and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.
