Khopra Trek 2026:
Into the Heart of Real Nepal
Where yoga, culture & nature inspire the soul
Step off the beaten track - and into the wild soul of Nepal.Forget the crowds of Annapurna Base Camp. The Khopra Ridge Trek (Khopra Danda) takes you deeper into the untouched beauty of rural Nepal - through rhododendron forests, quiet mountain villages, and trails where the only sounds are your footsteps, cowbells, and the wind through prayer flags.
This is off-the-beaten-path trekking at its best - authentic, peaceful, and breathtaking. You’ll climb above the clouds to Khopra Danda (4,200 m), where sunrise spills over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. You’ll meet locals, share dal bhat in teahouses, soak in natural hot springs, and end the journey celebrating
Newari New Year in Bhaktapur - a cultural finale like no other.
This journey is about adventure, connection, and returning home to yourself - step by step.
So, are you ready to step out of routine, tune back into yourself, and feel what it’s like to be truly alive again?
The Himalayas are calling.

When?
4 - 12 April 2026
Why?
🌄 Big Mountain Views - Minus the Crowds
Trek through blooming rhododendron forests and along high, quiet ridgelines on the Khopra Ridge trail. From Khopra Danda, the Himalayas open up in full force - Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Machapuchare. Fewer people, bigger silence, deeper impact. Each step brings altitude, clarity, and a strong sense of I can do hard things.
🏔️ Khayer Lake - Sacred, Remote, Unforgettable
A full-day adventure to Khayer Lake (4,827 m) - one of Nepal’s most sacred alpine lakes. This is a challenging, high-altitude day that asks for focus, patience, and grit. You’ll come back tired, proud, and changed in that quiet way only mountains can do.
🪔 Newari New Year in Bhaktapur
End the trek with culture, color, and celebration. Wander the ancient streets of Bhaktapur during Newari New Year, where rituals, music, and daily life blend into one powerful cultural experience. You’re not watching from the outside - you’re part of it.
♨️ Hot Springs in Tatopani
After days of climbing and descending, sink into natural hot springs surrounded by jungle hills. Muscles relax, laughter flows, and the trek settles into your body. Highly recommended. Almost mandatory.
🌿 A Journey That Moves You - Literally and Emotionally
This trek is for curious, active people who want more than ticking a destination off a list. You’ll walk, breathe, stretch, rest, and reconnect through daily movement, simple yoga, and long mountain days that strip life back to what matters.
💫 Challenge, Connection, and Quiet Confidence
This is not about being the strongest or the fastest. It’s about showing up, supporting each other, and discovering how capable you really are. You’ll return home grounded, energized, and carrying a calm confidence that doesn’t need to shout.

Extras:
As a special cultural add-on to the trek, we’ll celebrate Newari New Year in Bhaktapur. After days in the mountains, we step straight into living tradition – ancient streets filled with music, rituals, colors, and the (not so) quiet pride of local celebration. This is not a staged festival moment, but real life unfolding around us. A powerful, joyful, and deeply human way to close our Himalayan journey – grounded, connected, and unforgettable.
